About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP HCM Payroll Consultant to join our team at IBM Computing. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and re-engineering complex application components and integrating software packages using various tools.

Your Key Responsibilities

  1. Conducting fit-gap analysis and business/process modeling
  2. Business/application requirement gathering
  3. Business processes based on accepted industry practices
  4. SAP HR Payroll software configuring and testing
  5. Lead development of functional and systems specifications
  6. Write and maintain necessary documentation
  7. Educate client team members
  8. Provide support to our clients to maintain efficient operations of their SAP payroll application.

Requirements

  1. Strong ability to understand and analyze HR management process
  2. Excellent interpersonal skills
  3. Ability to adapt to changing environments and evaluate complex challenges
  4. Ability balance simultaneous assignments
  5. Project management experience is an asset
  6. Previous consulting experience is an asset

Technical and Professional Expertise

  1. 3 years minimum hands-on configuration experience of SAP HCM Payroll experience
  2. Experience with year-end reporting and reconciliation (T4)
  3. Experience testing annual HR support pack upgrades and related defect corrections

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  1. 5 years minimum hands-on configuration experience of SAP HCM Canadian Payroll experience
  2. Have completed a minimum of 3 full life cycle implementation of SAP
  3. PCP certification from the Canadian Payroll Association
  4. Successful completion of the HR400 SAP ERP HCM Payroll Configuration
  5. Experience working in an environment with multiple collective agreements
  6. Eligible for Canadian Reliability Clearance.

Location Statement

Must have the ability to work in Canada without sponsorship.

This role will involve working with technology that is covered by Export Regulations sanctions. If you are a Foreign National from any of the following US sanctioned countries (Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and the Crimea, Luhansk, Donetsk, Kherson, and Zaporizhia regions of Ukraine) on a work permit, you are not eligible for employment in this position.
