Job Title: Chef de Partie

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our team at Wildcraft Grill & Long Bar. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, managing kitchen operations, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events such as banquets
  • Supervise activities of specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers
  • Maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory
  • Estimate amount and costs of supplies and food items
  • Estimate labour costs
  • Demonstrate new cooking techniques and new equipment to cooking staff
  • Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food
  • Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff
  • Prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions
  • Prepare and cook meals or specialty foods
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Leading/instructing individuals
Requirements:
  • Safe Food Handling certificate
  • Food Safety Certificate
  • Managerial experience in a kitchen environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
