About the Role:
As a Critical Care Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment where you can make a real difference in the lives of patients and their families. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for critically ill patients, as well as collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.

Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for critically ill patients
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes

Requirements:
- Current registration with the BC College of Nursing Professionals as a practicing RN registrant
- Basic life support, Level C for general duty Staff Nurse positions
- Specialty certification may be required for specialty areas such as Operating Room, Post Anesthetic Recovery, Obstetrics, Pediatrics, and Psychiatry
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support and specialty certification for Critical Care, Emergency and Intensive Care.
