Job Summary:

We are seeking a Diesel Truck Technician Mechanic III to join our team at Penske Truck Leasing. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our fleet of vehicles is in top condition.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance on diesel trucks, including oil changes, brake repairs, and tire rotations.
  • Assist in the diagnosis and repair of complex mechanical issues, under the supervision of a lead technician.
  • Use a variety of tools and equipment, including pneumatic wrenches, welding equipment, and jacks and hoists.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, communicating effectively with customers and colleagues.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of practical experience in vehicle repair or truck maintenance.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational/technical or certification preferred.
  • Current driver's license class G or class 5; ability to obtain class DZ within 6 months of hire.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry into maintenance systems.
