Diesel Mechanic Job Description

NDS recyclage de metaux is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex diesel engine issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and Repair: Use computerized testing equipment to identify faults and malfunctions, and perform repairs to meet manufacturers' specifications.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Clean, lubricate, and perform routine maintenance on diesel engines and heavy equipment.
  • Heavy Truck Repair: Repair and maintain heavy trucks, including attaching components and adjusting new equipment.
  • Service and Maintenance: Service attachments and working tools, and perform other maintenance tasks as needed.

Requirements:

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance
  • Language: English or French
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week
