We are seeking a seasoned Project Director to oversee a dynamic portfolio of strategic projects and governance programs within our Pharmacovigilance (PV) organization at Soterius, Inc.
Key Responsibilities- Portfolio Management: Manage a portfolio of planned, active, and ongoing strategic projects aimed at improving compliance, quality, and reducing operating costs.
- Project Implementation: Ensure effective and efficient execution of projects, enabling continued success and scalability for the PV Organization.
- Collaboration: Work closely with PV Strategic Management, functional area stakeholders, and vendors/consultants to align on project goals.
- Project Planning: Collaborate with project teams to establish and maintain project charters and scope documents.
- Actionable Plans: Develop and drive execution of actionable project plans, facilitating cross-functional meetings to ensure alignment and advancement of key deliverables.
- Tracking and Reporting: Define, capture, and track actions, decisions, issues, and risks, while developing project dashboards for leadership updates.
- Meeting Facilitation: Facilitate Global PV Safety Functional meetings, document discussions, and follow up on identified actions and risks.
- Bachelor's degree with 1 to 3 years of project management experience, and at least 2 years in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
- PMP certification required; Six Sigma certification preferred.
- Advanced degree and PV experience are a plus.
- Understanding of clinical, safety, and pharmacovigilance operations.
- Ability to develop and implement cross-functional project plans.
- Experience in developing IT solutions in the healthcare/pharmaceutical sectors.
- Strong meeting facilitation skills and the ability to lead brainstorming discussions.
- Flexibility in adapting to process changes and new responsibilities.
- Proficiency in MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in a remote/virtual environment.
- Experience with agile methodology, alliance management, and/or business development is a plus.
- Knowledge of device and combination products development lifecycles and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) is an advantage.
