About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Food Preparation and Quality Control
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
    • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys to ensure that food is presented in a visually appealing manner.
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules, ensuring that our team is working efficiently and effectively.
  • Customer Service and Relations
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service.
    • Prepare and submit reports on customer feedback and suggestions, helping us to improve our services and products.
  • Administrative and Financial Tasks
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates, ensuring that we are operating within our financial means.
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights into our business operations.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to address customer complaints and concerns.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
