Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
    • Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance staff performance and productivity.
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, adhering to health and safety regulations.
    • Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that food products meet our high standards.
  • Inventory Management
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and excess inventory.
    • Monitor and control inventory levels, ensuring that stock is maintained at optimal levels.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Ensure that customer feedback is addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and customer feedback.
    • Develop and implement effective administrative systems to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
    Requirements
    • Education
      • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
    • Experience
      • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service supervisory role.
    • Skills
      • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
      • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
      • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
      Work Environment

As a Food Service Supervisor at Tim Hortons, you will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, interacting with customers, staff, and management. You will be required to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings, including weekends and holidays.
