About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Culinary Apprentice to join our team at Tandoori Flame. As an Apprentice Chef, you will have the opportunity to develop your culinary skills and knowledge in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to a high standard.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, ensuring a high level of quality and consistency.
  • Supply Chain Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain a well-stocked kitchen.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
  • Event Planning: Organize buffets and banquets to a high standard, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Kitchen Operations: Manage kitchen operations, including staff supervision and workflow management.
Work Environment

As a member of our team, you will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality food and excellent customer service. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Requirements
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrate attention to detail in all aspects of food preparation and presentation.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
