About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Culinary Apprentice to join our team at Tandoori Flame. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as training staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge required to excel in their roles.
- Supply Chain Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed, ensuring that the kitchen is well-stocked and equipped to meet the demands of our busy restaurant.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean kitchen and work areas, maintaining a high level of hygiene and cleanliness at all times.
- Event Management: Organize buffets and banquets, ensuring that they are executed to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Kitchen Operations: Manage kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
- Attention to Detail: Demonstrate attention to detail in all aspects of your work, ensuring that dishes are prepared and presented to the highest standards.
- Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, remaining calm and composed under pressure.
- Repetitive Tasks: Perform repetitive tasks with ease, maintaining a high level of productivity and efficiency.
