Pharmacy Technician Job Description

At Pharmacy Professionals Inc., we are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacists in providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Education and Experience: A college or CEGEP education and 1-2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting.
  • Key Tasks:
    • Advise patients on the proper use and care of prosthetic devices and orthotics.
    • Compound oral solutions, ointments, and creams as prescribed by physicians.
    • Maintain accurate inventories of medications and prescription records.
    • Clean and restore ocular prostheses to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
    • Interpret physician specifications to ensure accurate medication preparation.
    • Provide patients with guidance on managing loss of depth perception.
  • Work Environment: This is a permanent, full-time position with a 35-40 hour workweek. The work language is English.
