As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the paving and construction operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Estimate costs and materials for paving and construction projects
* Oversee apprenticeship training and ensure workers are properly trained and equipped
* Prepare production and other reports to track project progress
* Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions
* Co-ordinate and schedule activities to meet project deadlines
* Co-ordinate work activities with other project supervisors or managers
* Ensure health and safety regulations are followed and maintain a safe work environment
* Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure projects are completed on time
* Recommend personnel actions and requisition materials and supplies as needed
* Supervise workers and projects to ensure quality and productivity

Requirements:

* 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in construction or a related field
* Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
* Basic security clearance and bondable
* First Aid Certificate and Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate
* Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
* Willingness to relocate and work outdoors in dusty and noisy environments
