Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Paving Foreman/Woman to join our team at VALLEX DEEP CONSTRUCTION LTD. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the paving operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate costs and materials for paving projects
  • Oversee apprenticeship training and ensure workers are properly trained
  • Prepare production and other reports to track project progress
  • Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions
  • Co-ordinate and schedule activities to meet project deadlines
  • Co-ordinate work activities with other project supervisors or managers
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed and maintain a safe work environment
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and recommend personnel actions
  • Requisition materials and supplies as needed
  • Supervise workers and projects to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Train or arrange for training to ensure workers have the necessary skills
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in construction or a related field
  • Equivalent experience may be considered
  • First Aid Certificate and Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate
  • Basic security clearance and bondable
Work Environment

As a Paving Foreman/Woman, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment with tight deadlines and a focus on quality and safety. You will be required to work outdoors in dusty and noisy conditions, and may be required to relocate for work assignments.
