We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Concrete Finishing Services Foreman/Woman to join our team at IM Concrete Finishing Services Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the completion of concrete finishing projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Coordinate and schedule activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Team Supervision: Supervise and train a team of concrete finishers to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to company standards.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular site visits to inspect work in progress and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Material Management: Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to support project completion.
- Communication: Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met and expectations are exceeded.
- Training and Development: Provide on-the-job training and coaching to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure all team members are aware of and comply with company safety policies and procedures, as well as relevant industry regulations.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in concrete finishing or a related field.
- Workplace Information: This is an on-the-road job, requiring frequent travel to project sites.
- Language Training: We support social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees by facilitating access to language training.
- Credential Recognition: We assist newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition to help them integrate into the workforce.
- Mentorship Programs: We offer mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees to provide guidance and support.
- Cross-Cultural Training: We provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
- Mentorship and Coaching: We offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for Indigenous workers to support their career development.
- Cultural Competency Training: We provide cultural competency training and awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
- Elder Support: We facilitate access to Elders who can offer support and guidance to Indigenous workers.
- Hiring Policies: We apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities.
- Mentorship Programs: We offer mentorship programs that pair members of visible minorities with experienced employees.
- Cross-Cultural Training: We provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.
