Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound Specialist

Pay Rate: $37-$40/hour
About the Role:
The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care according to the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing diagnostic ultrasound services to patients, working collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Requirements:
- Successful completion of a recognized Ultrasound program.
- Current membership with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) in good standing.
- Current registration with Sonography Canada and insurance coverage.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound setting.
- Proficiency in the production and assessment of diagnostic ultrasound images.
- Strong understanding of vascular anatomy, cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, and pathology relevant to ultrasound imaging.
- Significant experience in abdominal, OB/GYN, small parts, neuro, and interventional ultrasound procedures.
- Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills, capable of working independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to demonstrate compassion and professionalism in providing quality patient-centered care.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Willingness to undergo a Vulnerable Sector Police Check as a condition of hire.
