We are seeking a Rock Tools Technician to support our rock tools contracts in Marathon, ON.

This entry-level position is responsible for guiding operators on correct tool usage, managing inventory, and distributing products.

The ideal candidate will have little experience but be willing to develop new skills and advance in the mining industry.

About the Role

  • Manage rock tool inventory, track issues, discards, and losses
  • Deliver tools to drills and work areas underground
  • Monitor and report tool performance using the Rock Tools Management System
  • Troubleshoot and provide technical recommendations to supervisors and sales representatives
  • Report occurrences of improper tool usage or selection
  • Complete accurate time records, technical reports, and failure reports
  • Perform daily/weekly stock counts
