About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Listowel Physiotherapy & Health Care Centre. As a key member of our audiology department, you will work closely with our physiotherapists and occupational therapists to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer hearing tests and instruct patients on procedures, recording results and monitoring equipment.
  • Develop and implement treatment programs to rehabilitate patients with hearing impairments or disabilities, under the direction of physiotherapists and occupational therapists.
  • Examine adult clients to assess hearing loss, recommend hearing instruments, and perform follow-up examinations and adjustments.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Process files and paperwork efficiently.
Requirements
  • Licensure as a Hearing Instrument Practitioner from a provincial/territorial regulatory body.
  • 1-7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
