We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Listowel Physiotherapy & Health Care Centre.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will assist physiotherapists and occupational therapists in the rehabilitation of patients with various injuries or disabilities. This role involves administering tests, instructing patients, and monitoring equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer tests using auditory equipment and record results
  • Carry out treatment programs under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists
  • Examine adult clients to assess hearing loss and recommend hearing instruments
  • Document patient rehabilitation progress and process files and paperwork
Requirements:
  • Licensure by a provincial/territorial regulatory body for Hearing Instrument Practitioner
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field
  • Permanent employment with 37.5 hours per week
  • English language proficiency
