We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Listowel Physiotherapy & Health Care Centre.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will assist physiotherapists and occupational therapists in the rehabilitation of patients with various injuries or disabilities. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer tests using equipment, instruct patients on test procedures, and record results.
  • Carry out treatment programs under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists.
  • Examine adult clients to assess hearing loss, recommend type of hearing instrument, take earmold impressions, and perform follow-up examinations and readjustments.
  • Document patient rehabilitation progress.
  • Process files and paperwork.
Requirements
  • Licensure by a provincial/territorial regulatory body for Hearing Instrument Practitioner.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
