This role entails fostering lasting relationships with target consumers to boost sales and overseeing tactics and strategies supporting sales initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop innovative marketing strategies to promote our brands and products in the Canadian market.
- Deploy successful marketing campaigns, from ideation to execution, leveraging creative, digital, analytical, and financial expertise.
- Oversee cross-functional projects, including advertising campaigns, profit maximization, and public relations management.
- Create effective advertising campaigns that drive sales, working closely with outside marketing agencies for creative input and media relations.
- Experiment with various acquisition channels, such as content creation, paid social media, lead generation campaigns, and performance analysis.
- Produce engaging content for our website, attracting and converting target groups.
- Build strategic partnerships with industry players, agencies, and vendors.
- Manage the marketing budget, allocating funds wisely to achieve business objectives.
- Collaborate with sales and product teams to meet quarterly and annual goals.
- Approve marketing materials, from digital banners to print collateral, ensuring brand consistency.
- Analyze campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations to optimize results.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's and Master's Degree in marketing or a related field.
- Demonstrated knowledge of market research and consumer behavior.
- Strong research skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional environments.
- Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies, communicating recommendations to executives.
- Experience identifying target audiences and devising effective marketing campaigns.
- Excellent understanding of the marketing mix.
- Strong analytical skills combined with a creative mindset.
- Data-driven thinking and an affinity for numbers.
- Up-to-date knowledge of the latest marketing trends and best practices.
- 8+ years' experience in retail and/or manufacturing marketing, with 3+ years at a Senior Marketing Manager level.
- Integrated marketing experience, focusing on in-store, digital (paid & organic), and traditional marketing.
- Strong understanding and experience partnering with retail media partners and leveraging owned data.
- Experience managing complex projects and executing them on the ground.
- Detail-oriented and extremely organized.
- Able to work cross-functionally on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite software for editing.
- Content background considered an asset.
- Experience organizing events, including tradeshows.
- Comfortable managing annual marketing budgets.
