Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Piros Family Restaurant.
Job Summary:The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are met. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work well under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including training and development.
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Address customer complaints or concerns and provide excellent customer service.
- Prepare budget and cost estimates and maintain accurate financial records.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure that food is prepared to the highest standards.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Ensure that all health and safety regulations are met and maintained.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
