About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at 2548141 ALBERTA LTD. as a Construction Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction of various projects, ensuring that they are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimating and Planning: Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs for projects, taking into account factors such as building codes, materials, and timelines.
  • Site Management: Schedule and coordinate work on construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Team Leadership: Instruct and supervise apprentices, providing guidance and support to ensure that they develop the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the trade.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that work is being carried out to the required standards, and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Communication: Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed to their satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: While experience is an asset, we are willing to consider candidates with relevant training and certification.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
