Job Title: Construction Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Construction Carpenter to join our team at GOBIND CONSTRUCTION LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the construction and repair of residential and commercial buildings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare layouts and designs for building projects, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residential and commercial buildings, including those in industrial plants and other establishments.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Physically demanding work environment.
Experience:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the construction industry.
