We are seeking a skilled Carpenter Specialist to join our team at Wright Construction Services Inc.
Job Summary:The Carpenter Specialist will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to carpentry, including measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
Key Responsibilities:- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
- Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
- Instructing apprentices.
- Working at heights training.
- First Aid Certificate.
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
- Carpenter Red Seal Certificate.
- Fall Arrest Protection Training Course.
- Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate.
The Carpenter Specialist will work in a fast-paced construction environment with tight deadlines.
Physical Demands:- Bending, crouching, kneeling.
- Physically demanding.
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience.
