We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Professional to join our team at Jungle Jim's Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Kitchen Maintenance and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all equipment and utensils are in good working condition.
- Staff Training and Development: Train and develop kitchen staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, as well as maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all food products meet our high standards.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate kitchen staff to achieve our goals and objectives.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, management, and customers to ensure that we provide excellent customer service.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
