Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Special Dietary Requirements: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Work with our dietitian and chef to prepare and cook special meals for patients, adhering to their dietary needs and preferences.
  • Kitchen Maintenance and Hygiene: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure they meet our high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Staff Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment, maintain inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment, and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean kitchen and work areas, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our staff and customers.
  • Operational Management: Manage kitchen operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, and making adjustments as needed to meet our high standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
