Job Description

We are seeking a top-performing Digital Media Project Manager to join our team at Aboriginal People's Television Network. As a key member of our digital media department, you will be responsible for overseeing all activities necessary for planning, coordinating, and controlling the execution of digital media projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure projects meet the highest quality standards, respecting scope, budget, and deadlines.
  • Establish and communicate APTN Web standards and best practices both internally and externally.
  • Ensure consistency and interaction of services and solutions across digital platforms.
  • Contribute to the improvement of production processes and quality control.
  • Analyze, project, and evaluate production times and participate in drafting technical specifications.
  • Actively participate in problem-solving processes ensuring all issues shared with the team are prioritized and addressed.

You will also collaborate with the Marketing Department to align the digital presence strategy across multiple platforms and manage project risks by providing appropriate issues and escalating to the appropriate levels.

Requirements:
  • Experience in website development, architecture, and new technologies is an asset.
  • Understanding of the digital world in all its facets: customer experience, personas, content, communication, SEO, video platforms, marketing, social, cybermetry, mobility, Internet, etc.
  • Broadcasting knowledge is an asset.
  • Experience working with an Indigenous organization as well as knowledge of Indigenous cultural perspectives is an asset.
  • Proficiency with Internet, E-mail, and other business-related computer software.
Estimated Salary:

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
