Job Description:
Average Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Media Project Manager to join our team in Winnipeg. As a key member of our digital media department, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of digital media project planning, coordination, and execution. Your primary focus will be on ensuring projects meet the highest quality standards, respecting scope, budget, and deadlines.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement digital media project plans, including project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective project delivery, including marketing, creative services, and technical teams.
  • Maintain and communicate APTN Web standards and best practices internally and externally to ensure high-quality developments and products.
  • Analyze production times and participate in drafting technical specifications to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Contribute to the development, maintenance, and evolution of shared APTN tools to support digital media project delivery.
  • Actively participate in problem-solving processes to address issues and prioritize tasks while safeguarding accessibility and prominence of APTN content.

Your Qualifications and Experience:
  • Post-secondary education in a relevant discipline (e.g., digital media, communications, business administration) and 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education, experience, and traditional knowledge.
  • Experience in website development, architecture, and new technologies is an asset.
  • Understanding of the digital world, including customer experience, personas, content, communication, SEO, video platforms, marketing, social media, and Internet trends.
  • Broadcasting knowledge is an asset.
  • Experience working with an Indigenous organization and knowledge of Indigenous cultural perspectives is an asset.
  • Proficiency with internet, email, and other business-related computer software.
