Floor Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Floor Manager to join our team at Decathlon Canada Inc. As a key member of our retail store team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our store, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining a high level of customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of sales associates to provide excellent customer service and meet sales targets.
- Manage Inventory: Oversee the receipt, storage, and maintenance of inventory, ensuring that stock levels are adequate and that products are displayed attractively.
- Resolve Issues: Address customer complaints, resolve supply chain issues, and maintain a positive and professional attitude in all interactions.
- Supervise and Coordinate: Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales associates, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Plan and Organize: Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the smooth operation of the store, including scheduling, inventory management, and customer service.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail or supervisory role.
- Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in inventory management and customer service software.
