Floor Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Floor Manager to join our team at Decathlon Canada Inc.
Job SummaryThe Floor Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This includes supervising and coordinating the activities of staff, maintaining adequate stock levels, and resolving any issues that may arise.
Key Responsibilities- Hiring and Training: Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
- Issue Resolution: Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages in a timely and professional manner.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Stock Management: Maintain adequate stock levels to meet customer demand and minimize waste.
- Policies and Procedures: Plan, develop, and organize the policies and procedures of the establishment to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail or supervisory role.
