Farm Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Supervisor to join our team at Millennium Farm. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our farm, ensuring the highest standards of quality and productivity.
Key Responsibilities- Mixing and Application of Fertilizers: Ensure the accurate mixing and application of fertilizers to promote healthy crop growth.
- Tree and Plant Maintenance: Shear and shape trees and plants with precision to maintain optimal growth and productivity.
- Weeding and Crop Management: Implement effective weeding strategies and manage crop growth to minimize waste and maximize yields.
- Financial and Production Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of financial transactions and production metrics.
- Agricultural Services: Provide a range of agricultural services, including plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, and harvesting.
- Team Supervision: Coordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting laborers to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Farm Safety and Bio-Security: Ensure that all farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed to protect the health and well-being of our team members and the environment.
- Quality Control and Production Records: Maintain high standards of quality control and production records to ensure the highest quality products.
- Crop Operations Oversight: Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations to ensure optimal yields and quality.
- Work Records and Logs: Maintain accurate and detailed records of work activities and logs to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Machinery and Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- General Farm Duties: Perform a range of general farm duties to support the smooth operation of the farm.
As a Farm Supervisor at Millennium Farm, you will be part of a dynamic and experienced team dedicated to producing high-quality crops. You will work closely with our operations team to ensure the highest standards of quality and productivity.
Requirements- Leadership Experience: Proven experience in leading and supervising teams in a farm or agricultural setting.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of agricultural practices, crop management, and farm operations.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate with team members and stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze problems and develop effective solutions to ensure optimal farm operations.
- Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail to maintain accurate records and ensure high-quality products.
