We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Supervisor to join our team at Millennium Farm. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our farm, ensuring the highest standards of quality and productivity are maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mixing and Application of Fertilizers: Ensure the accurate mixing and application of fertilizers to promote healthy crop growth.
  • Tree and Plant Maintenance: Shear and shape trees and plants with precision to maintain optimal growth and productivity.
  • Weeding and Crop Management: Implement effective weeding strategies and manage crop growth to prevent disease and pests.
  • Financial and Production Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions and production metrics.
  • Agricultural Services: Provide a range of agricultural services, including plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, and harvesting.
  • Team Supervision: Coordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting laborers to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Farm Safety and Bio-Security: Ensure that all farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed to maintain a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Quality Control and Production Records: Maintain quality control and production records to ensure the highest standards of quality and productivity are maintained.
  • Crop Operations Supervision: Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations to ensure optimal growth and productivity.
  • Work Records and Logs: Maintain accurate and up-to-date work records and logs to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Machinery and Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • General Farm Duties: Perform a range of general farm duties to ensure the smooth operation of the farm.

As a Farm Supervisor at Millennium Farm, you will be part of a dynamic and experienced team dedicated to producing high-quality crops. You will work closely with our operations team to ensure the highest standards of quality and productivity are maintained.

Requirements
  • Leadership and Supervision: Proven experience in leading and supervising teams to achieve high levels of productivity and quality.
  • Agricultural Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of agricultural practices, including crop management, fertilization, and pest control.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve issues related to crop growth and productivity.
