Key Responsibilities- Library Management
- Oversee the library's collection development, including purchasing and organizing resources.
- Manage the library's budget and ensure adequate funding for resources and services.
- Recruit, supervise, and evaluate library staff.
- Research Support
- Provide research assistance to students and faculty, including instruction and reference services.
- Collaborate with faculty to develop library resources and services that support curriculum goals.
- Collaboration and Communication
- Work with the Heritage information technology team to ensure seamless integration of library resources and services.
- Communicate effectively with students, faculty, and staff to promote library resources and services.
- Master's degree in Library and Information Science (MLIS) or equivalent.
- Minimum of three years' experience in a library leadership position.
- Leadership and management experience, with a focus on team building and collaboration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
