Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Therapist to join our team at CASA Mental Health. As a member of our clinical team, you will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality mental health services to children, youth, and families. Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  1. Providing comprehensive mental health assessments and developing individualized treatment plans.
  2. Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support clients in achieving their goals.
  3. Facilitating psycho-educational and therapeutic groups for children and parents.
  4. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  5. Staying up-to-date with best practices in child and family mental health and incorporating new knowledge into practice.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, applicants must possess a graduate degree in psychology, social work, or occupational therapy, with current registration in good standing. A minimum of two years of clinical practice in child and family mental health and/or youth addictions is required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, are essential. Experience working with diverse populations, including those from Indigenous backgrounds, is an asset.
