Construction Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team in Vancouver. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of civil and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan, direct, and supervise workers to ensure project schedules are met and quality standards are maintained;
  • Coordinate with in-house trades, subcontractors, and company departments to ensure smooth project execution;
  • Conduct regular safety meetings and enforce compliance with project safety programs;
  • SUPERVISE, MENTOR AND COACH DIRECT REPORTS IN YOUR ASSIGNED WORK AREA as it relates to company policies, procedures, and technical work requirements;
  • Ensure that construction activities align with plans, specifications, and company standards;
  • Inspect work areas to identify required materials and equipment;
  • Mobilize resources and set up job sites to ensure efficient project execution;
  • Resolve construction problems and constructability challenges promptly;
  • Monitor and maintain necessary materials, equipment, inspections, and project schedules;
  • Assist with scheduling and cost estimate preparation;
  • Oversight and coordination of contractors in day-to-day management of safety, environment, cost, schedule, and quality items.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience as a Field Superintendent in the earthworks / utilities / foundations / heavy-civil construction industry;
  • Ability to manage multiple smaller projects simultaneously or one large project;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software;
  • Valid driver's license;
  • Ability to read and interpret project schedules, engineering plans, and specifications;
  • Demonstrated leadership skills;
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills;
  • Authorization to work in Canada is mandatory;

About Us:

We offer a competitive salary range of $130,000 – $170,000 and exciting opportunities for professional growth and development.
