Senior Auto Claims Representative

At Definity, we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Auto Claims Representative to join our team. As a key member of our claims department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, managing complex claims, and ensuring that all claims are promptly and fully investigated.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide prompt, courteous, and accurate claims service to all customers
- Manage complex and/or commercial auto claims
- Fully explain the claim process to customers in a clear and concise manner
- Interpret and apply policy wordings to determine appropriate coverage
- Ensure all claims are thoroughly investigated and resolved in a timely manner
- Work with customers, brokers, and vendors to determine the best course of action for each claim
- Maintain detailed file records and process claims payments within authority level
- Achieve targeted number of assigned claims per year and maintain a file disposition rate of 100%
Requirements:
- University degree in any discipline or college diploma
- Minimum 3 years experience handling automobile physical damage claims
- Advanced knowledge of claims processes and procedures
- Excellent analytical and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
