Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Western Restaurant Franchises Inc. O/A A & W Restaurant. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, maintaining accurate records of stock and inventory.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, providing guidance and training as needed.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing a positive and welcoming experience.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, preparing and submitting reports as required.
  • Prepare food order summaries for the chef, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Supervise and check assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Establish work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing and coverage.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Basic security clearance.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and walking.
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
  • Flexibility and ability to work as part of a team.
