Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Subway Quesnel. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of food service staff, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards, and addressing customer complaints or concerns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and supervise the activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.
  • Hire food service staff and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Prepare and submit reports, and supervise the delivery of food trolleys.
  • Provide physical, visual, and auditory accessibility accommodations for customers with disabilities.
  • Participate in government or community programs that support persons with disabilities, newcomers, and refugees, and offer mentorship programs to pair them with experienced employees.

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in food service or a related field.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lead a team of staff.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
