Portfolio Analyst

The Capital Markets Group is a dynamic team of professionals responsible for supporting the Provincial Treasury's Debt Management Branch. As a Portfolio Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the team with daily activities and longer-term projects. This role offers a fantastic growth opportunity, allowing you to develop critical skills in market research, executing financial transactions, and strategy formulation.
Key Responsibilities- Support the team with daily activities and longer-term projects
- Develop critical skills in market research, executing financial transactions, and strategy formulation
- Work alongside bond market professionals, gaining hands-on experience in both domestic and global capital markets
- University degree in commerce, business administration, economics, or a related curriculum
- Recent work experience in capital markets
- Experience or coursework specific to macro economics, money markets, bond markets, and derivatives
- Related finance and capital markets professional designations
- Experience working with the Bloomberg system
