Compensation

Our competitive compensation structure includes pay for certification, on-call pay, call-back pay, overtime, and Overall Responsible Operator (ORO) pay. The estimated salary range for this role is $52,102 - $61,214 per annum, based on the provided information.

Job Description

In this role, you will operate and maintain water and wastewater facilities within the Northeastern Region. You will use your skills to effectively inspect, operate, and monitor facility processes and equipment, performing routine preventive maintenance and making process control adjustments to resolve operating issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum Operator-in-Training (OIT), as specified in O.Reg. 128/04 of the Safe Drinking Water Act and O.Reg. 129/04 of the Ontario Water Resources Act.
  • OIT to Class IV certificate or license: Water Treatment, Water Distribution and Supply, Wastewater.
  • Familiarity with computers, including monitoring and operating systems.
  • Ability to interpret maintenance manuals, blueprints, and other technical specifications; use and storage of industrial chemicals.
