Sport Program Workshop Facilitator

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Sport Program Workshop Facilitator. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive and interactive workshops to sport organizations across Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver workshops independently to sport organizations
  • Work closely with the Sport Program Director to book and deliver workshops
  • Responsible for making travel and accommodation arrangements
  • Submit invoices in a timely manner
  • Complete post-workshop surveys
  • Stay current and relevant in the Safe Sport Movement
  • Attend monthly facilitator meetings and bi-annual staff/facilitator retreats

Requirements:

  • A degree or diploma in a sport-related field
  • NCCP certification is preferred
  • Experience in the sport sector, including coaching, officiating, or management
  • Experience in public speaking and conflict management
  • Ability to present in English and French
  • Availability to travel out of town with notice
  • Access to own transportation for local and out of town workshops
