About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at RV Remodeling Ltd. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to woodworking and construction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimating and Planning: Prepare detailed estimates of labor and material costs for projects.
  • Design and Layout: Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements and prepare layouts in conformance to building codes.
  • Woodworking: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
  • Construction: Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Installation: Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, moldings, and hardware.
  • Project Management: Schedule and coordinate work on sites, supervise other workers, and estimate costs and materials.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various establishments.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Conditions: Bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking, handling heavy loads, large workload, overtime required, physically demanding, and tight deadlines.
Personal Qualities and Experience
  • Personal Qualities: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, judgment, reliability, team player, values and ethics, and punctuality.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
