Carpentry Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at RV REMODELING LTD. as a key member of our construction team.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs for construction projects
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
- Design and implement layouts in accordance with building codes, using precision measuring tools
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, and lightweight steel
- Construct foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
- Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
- Coordinate and supervise work on construction sites
- Estimate costs and materials for projects
- Maintain, repair, and renovate residential and commercial structures
- Work in a fast-paced construction environment with tight deadlines
- Perform physically demanding tasks, including bending, crouching, and handling heavy loads
- Work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in carpentry or a related field
- Permanent full-time position
- 35 hours per week
- English language
