We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Electrical & Automation Industry Careers. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support and troubleshooting services to our employees, ensuring seamless communication and system functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Support & Troubleshooting:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting services for our RingCentral Phone System, ensuring smooth communication flow and resolving technical issues in a timely manner.
- Assist with performance and access issues related to Salesforce, troubleshooting bugs and addressing system-related problems.
- System Maintenance & Application Support:
- Assist with application updates and software troubleshooting, ensuring system stability and resolving issues with installations and configurations.
- Create IT instructions and guidelines via SharePoint to aid users in navigating systems and provide clear troubleshooting procedures.
- Manage IT equipment purchasing and vendor relations, ensuring systems are set up efficiently for testing and general operations.
- General IT Support & Documentation:
- Monitor and maintain overall IT infrastructure, providing day-to-day technical support and identifying potential issues before they escalate.
- Document IT processes and policies, including troubleshooting steps and system configurations, ensuring accurate records for future reference.
- Participate in warehouse activities and support cycle counts as required, assisting with technical aspects of inventory management systems.
Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Two year minimum direct experience as an end-user support technician.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Teams is a must.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Experience with troubleshooting hardware issues (e.g., desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with RingCentral and Salesforce is an asset.
- Being an unbiased person who values diversity, inclusion and equality.
- Enthusiastic, with a cheerful outlook and the ability to perform as a collaborator.
- Outstanding interpersonal/communication skills, adaptable and with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent is required.
- Relevant IT support certification is an asset.
