Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Heavy Duty Cleaning Specialist to join our team at Deep and Thorough Cleaning Services Inc. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweeping and Mopping: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Industrial Cleaning: Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse from our facilities.
  • Waste Management: Empty trash cans and other waste containers to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Window Cleaning: Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and visually appealing environment.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies to maintain a safe and organized environment.
  • Plant Care: Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to maintain a clean and visually appealing environment.
  • Bathroom Cleaning: Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Security and Safety: Work with minimal supervision and adhere to all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Winter Maintenance: Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas to maintain a safe and accessible environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
