Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Heavy Duty Cleaning Specialist to join our team at Deep and Thorough Cleaning Services Inc. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance
    • Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs to maintain a clean and safe environment.
    • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse.
    • Empty trash cans and other waste containers to prevent odors and pests.
    • Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and visually appealing environment.
    • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies to ensure efficient cleaning and maintenance.
    • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to maintain a clean and healthy environment.
  • Security and Safety
    • Undergo a criminal record check to ensure a safe and secure work environment.
    • Work in a permanent position with a regular schedule of 40 hours per week.
    • Communicate effectively in English to ensure clear instructions and feedback.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
