Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Group Manager, Quality Assurance to join our team at CA09 Labatt Brewing Company Limited. As a key member of our quality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our brewing process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with production personnel to provide quality assurance and ensure compliance with HACCP standards.
  • Coordinate and lead quality improvement projects to drive continuous improvement in our brewing process.
  • Analyze micro, packaging, and analytical results to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Participate in calibration programs for control equipment and ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety policies.
  • Ensure Quality Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are followed in all departments and provide feedback to operators on process audits.
  • Audit technicians' performance on routine testing of product to ensure it meets specifications.
  • Manage blocked beer and administer lab services using the SAP system.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or Biochemistry.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a quality function within the Food & Beverage industry.
  • Good understanding of scientific principles and brewing/production knowledge.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
  • Highly skilled in data collection and analysis to facilitate effective problem-solving.
  • Well-organized self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
