Job Title: Social Media Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Social Media Coordinator to join our Marketing and Sales team at Purdys Chocolatier. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing, executing, and measuring our social media content across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement social media content strategies to promote our brand and products.
  • Manage and schedule social media content using Sprout or similar software.
  • Engage with our online community, respond to comments and messages, and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Monitor and analyze social media metrics to inform our content strategy and optimize our online presence.
  • Collaborate with our marketing and merchandising team to support seasonal marketing campaigns and product launches.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices to ensure our online presence remains competitive and engaging.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a social media role, creating content for a brand.
  • Experience creating short-form video content, such as Instagram Reels.
  • University degree or college diploma in English, Marketing, or Communications, or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for grammar.
  • A passion for social media, social media trends, and content creation.
  • A self-motivated, fast learner who enjoys working in a team environment.
  • Experience using Sprout or similar social media scheduling and reporting software.
  • Experience working with influencers is an asset.
What We Offer:
