Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Practical Nurse to join our Nursing Resources Team at Humber River Health. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in all Medical and Surgical Inpatient Units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on health-related topics
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experiences
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A diploma in Registered Practical Nursing from a recognized institution
  • Current RPN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Current BCLS certification or demonstrated competency
  • Minimum 1 year acute medical/surgical experience, preferred
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
