Job Title: Residence Co-ordinator

Join Oakville Children's Homes as a Residence Co-ordinator and play a vital role in the care and support of children and youth in our residential programs.

About the Role:

The Residence Co-ordinator is responsible for the day-to-day management of a residential program, ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of residents. This includes:

  • Co-ordinating and implementing life skills workshops and activities
  • Assessing and addressing the needs of residents
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with residents, families, and community partners
  • Providing guidance and support to residents in achieving their goals
  • Collaborating with other staff members to ensure a comprehensive and supportive environment
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A diploma or degree in a related field (e.g., social work, child and youth care)
  • Experience working with children and youth in a residential setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
